After all, Samsung is the Official Worldwide Olympic Partner in Wireless Communications Equipment. For those who pick up the handset, they are able to download and install Samsung’s Public WOW Application from Samsung’s official Olympic Games microsite (www.samsung.com/vancouver2010). With this software, you are able to check out all the happenings in real time, receiving up-to-the minute information such as Olympic news, schedules, results and medal standings. All of those information were previously available only to official staff, but that is no longer the case. Of course, this application works not only on the Samsung Omnia II but can also function on any Samsung smartphone that supports either the Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5 operating systems.
