The patent-pending Laptop Burka
by Marc in Miscellaneous gadgets
I’ve had the press release for this sitting in my inbox since summer and I still can’t decide if it’s a wind-up or not. Ignoring the name (which is the sort of thing I’d choose if I was trying to get a reaction out people), the idea just seems… crazy. It’s a sheet – which you pull over yourself and your laptop so you can see the screen.
Or you could work out of a pop up tent, which seems about as usable to me.
If you feel like ordering 10 of them (that’s the only quantity available in the online store) head on over to www.laptopburka.com

Marc Johnson here inventor!
On holiday I was outside trying to finish up some work on my laptop computer. The suns glare was so intense my anti glare filter and half shell computer shade didnt work well enough for me to see the screen.
There was nothing on the high tech market that could solve this problem. I had to go inside or through a blanket over my head.
I wanted something that reflects the suns heat , breathable , light weight and easy to travel with that could also work with any computer anywhere.
Made from high quality breathable reflective materials Geek Sheet is much more than just a sheet off your bed.
Geek Sheet reduces the glare on your computer screen 100% ! No other product on todays high tech market can claim that !
There is finally an alternitive to all the high tech ( bunk ) filters and half shell computer shades that you and I both know dont work outside.
Geek Sheet may not be for everyone but if a 100% glare free portable , breathable work space is what your looking for “Nothing on the planet can out perform Geek Sheet by Laptop Burka”
