This is an amazing little gadget would be perfect for anyone who loves HDTV quality programming and are constantly on the go. The T14A USB HDTV Tuner can receive Over The Air (OTA) HDTV.
Probably the coolest thing about this gadget is its overall ease of use. It’s a very small little device which easily plugs into your computer’s USB port. It’s just the size of a small USB drive so it is incredibly easy to carry around with you. This makes it perfect for laptop use anywhere you can get an OTA signal, in that way you could compare it to an outdoor antenna for your TV. It also requires no additional battery power so it is completely powered via the USB port.
The tuner is designed for Windows XP MCE (Media Center Edition) and comes with all the drivers required to use it. Windows XP MCE also requires that you have an analog TV tuner card installed on your computer for the HDTV tuner to function, however.
This very cool and very portable gadget costs $89 which in my opinion is not that bad of a deal for what it offers. It is available from PC Alchemy.
