Cintiq-Pro-24When it comes to digitizer tablets, there is one particular name that stands above the rest: Wacom. Wacom has been a mainstay in the world of digitizer tablets and pens, and the company continues to cement its legacy in this area with the latest Cintiq Pro 24-inch pen display. This is a brand new high performance mid-sized display that has been specially built for cutting-edge creative and design applications, taking into consideration how the industry is moving into augmented and virtual reality sectors as well.

The Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 pen display’s introduction will further expand the Cintiq Pro high-definition range. It is able to deliver the convenience of a larger digital canvas without having to sacrifice or compromise on availability of power, enabling it to tackle an increasing onslaught of creative applications and programs. There will be a pen and touch display version that is coming out later this May to add even more choices for the discerning digital artist.

Those who pick up the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 will be able to take their creativity to a whole new level with performance that one can see and feel. It boasts of a brilliant 4k display, 98% Adobe RGB color accuracy and a billion colors to choose from in order deliver a true-to-life visual experience. Improvements have also been made to the pen on screen experience, while the combination of the new Pro Pen 2 technology (improved pressure sensitivity featuring 8,192 levels), the etched glass surface, the reduction in parallax through optical bonding and the close to zero latency, will help ensure that artists gain precise control and a more natural feeling pen on screen experience.

Expect the Cintiq Pro 24 pen display models to be available in the U.S., Japan and selected European countries as of this month, with an asking price that range from $1,999 to $2,499.
