Vernee V2 Pro is 5.99-inches of smartphone goodness

vernee_V2_ProJust about everyone has a smartphone these days, and while flagship models tend to be on the expensive side of things, are there functional smartphones that offer specifications that lie on the high end side without requiring you to break the bank? Vernee figured out they might have just done that with the V2 Pro, touting it to be an advanced 5.99″ all-screen rugged smartphone that boasts of water and dust resistance courtesy of its IP68 rating.

This is a flagship mid-range handset, where apart from its waterproof and dust resistance, it also claims to be damage resistant. We are quite sure that this does not mean you will be able to put it through copious amounts of punishment. On the contrary, the Vernee V2 Pro would be tougher than a regular handset, but do not go placing it under the wheels of a vehicle just to see how tough it is. At first glance, it might seem as though the design cues do bear a resemblance to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active.

It relies on various modern technologies in order to improve the entire smartphone’s body design, delivering a better waterproofing structure without having to sacrifice on aesthetics. The 5.99-inch Full HD+ all-screen has a resolution count of 2160 x 1080 pixels, in addition to having Corning Gorilla 2.5D glass that is anti-scratch and drop resistant. With a screen-to-body ratio of up to 81.3%, you are guaranteed of a wider and more attractive visual experience.

It can remain under 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes without requiring a trip to the nearest smartphone repair shop, while the unique “small dot” design on its tough back case delivers an outstanding anti-fouling and anti-slip ability. Touting to be a 360-degree drop resistant rugged handset, the Vernee V2 Pro is powered by an octa-core Helio P23 processor, has 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, dual rear cameras (21MP & 5MP), dual front cameras, and NFC support, all of it running on Android 8.1 with an optimized VOS skin on top of it.
