Vacuum Toy Thing keeps your child occupied, house clean

Most parents will tell you that keeping your house clean after your have kids is next to impossible. Forget about the messes that your children actually cause, but when you try to clean the child is right behind you, bugging you to be picked up or for food. There must be a way to keep them occupied while we clean. The work needs to get done.

This ingenious Plug & Play & Vacuum allows your kid to get a free little ride while you run around the house, cleaning up after their mess. The only thing that would make this device better is if the child could just clean the house themselves. The extra weight of your kid might make it a pain in the ass to lug around the vacuum, but at least you can get the stuff done that need to be handled.

Designed by ATYPYK, the great part about this device is that your child won’t feel left out while your cleaning the carpet, so you won’t have to feel guilty about letting the kid scream for some attention. This device gets the kid directly involved and interested in the cleaning experience.

While this could have some dire consequences in the future, no parent dreams of their child becoming a house cleaner for a living, let’s think in the present. We all know that if this gadget becomes available to the mass market that parents will undeniably be running to their nearest appliance store to grab one. We can only hope the sucking power is as good as the distraction factor.

  1. Actually, it is said to use a vacuum to calm a baby down when crying- the sound relaxes the baby. Winkyboy apparently didn’t do his research very well.

  2. Sorry Picasso; I certainly could be wrong and don’t claim any exclusivity, and I’m sure there are exceptional kids who may actually like sitting on top of loud machines. However, my two kids plus all those I’ve ever seen near vacuums run, hold their ears, or do anything they can to get away from it. (ONCE my son sat there patting the vacuum while it was running, but now he cries when it gets near him.)

Maybe a vacuum operating from across the room will calm a *baby* just as white noise or ocean sounds will, but I think that’s a bit different from toddlers, whom this “toy” seems designed for.

  3. No, I apologize, there was no need to blow my steam here for no reason at all. Everyone is entitle to their opinions- I was just having a bad day and you became an easy target with your comment. My most humble apologies. Your probably right, babies love white noise since it reminds them of being in their mother’s womb, but as a kid gets more mature, behaviour alters as well.

  4. Well, I have two kids and both of them love the vacuum. I have iRobot roomba. Older one follows it around and younger one just likes the sound. Winkyboy: maybe your kids are just… you know… different.

  5. LOL šŸ™‚ This is amazing! I would love to buy one, I’m sure it’s not as loud as a kid screaming all around!

  6. I think in no time the kid will want to take charge and do the vacuuming instead. Interesting concept although Iā€™m not sure if it is THAT practical.
