The Wonder Wash saves on water with a bit more work

If you’re working hard to make your household chores a bit more eco-friendly, you might look into the Wonder Wash.  It uses even less water than if you were to hand wash a garment and uses a great deal less power than a washing machine.  It’s not going to hold anywhere near as much as a washing machine, so it will take longer to do the laundry.  However, if you’re committed to doing things the earth friendly way, this would be a great way to do it.  Even if you aren’t really big into green living, this would be a more efficient way to wash your delicate clothing.

To work it, you put warm or hot water into the drum, then put the lid in place and seal up the machine.  Within the machine, the air inside the drum absorbs the heat of the water and will then expand.  The air expanding then creates pressure which will force the detergent, that is diluted in the water, through the clothing.  Apparently in such a way that it’s 100 times faster than you could do by hand or even with a regular washing machine.  It does a 5lb load, which means it could fit 10 shirts or 30 pairs of socks or 2-3 pairs of blue jeans.  You can pick it up for $42.95.  If you are interested in the product, keep in mind,  you have to scroll to the far bottom of the seller’s page to purchase it.
