This is a great idea for those of you who want to have the very last word!
It’s a tombstone that automatically plays a recorded message when someone approaches. Just record a few words for posterity and have them transferred to the tombstone and your voice will be heard by visitors for eternity – or until the batteries run out!
The only problem is what should you record? “Hi I’m Paz and I’m very annoyed!” might do the trick. I also toyed with the idea of “Your standing on my grave. Get off!”
In the end I decided that I would record myself singing Monty Python’s “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”. The only problem was that I couldn’t find out how long a recording you could make, so I popped over to what I thought might be the manufacturer’s website. The problem was that they ask you to sign some bizarre non-disclosure agreement before they will give you any details.
Apparently it’ll set you back $5,000 though, but that does include the batteries. Hopefully they’re long-life ones!
