The Pineapple coring gadget is just like the Cherry Pitter and the Kernel Kutter, meaning it makes a mundane task that really isn’t all that hard to begin with even easier. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that, especially when it’s cheap, as in $10 cheap.
Think of the corer (which now means a pineapple coring gadget) as a corkscrew for pineapples. Other than that, I’m not really sure how it works, and the picture doesn’t help matters much. What does matter, however, is that it easily cores your pineapples, and even if it doesn’t work all that well, you only wasted $10. It’s a win win situation in my eyes.
Here’s the kicker. Once you’ve cored your delicious pineapple, you can use the remnants as a one-use cup for your favorite tropical, fruity, cool drink, whatever that may be (a daiquiri maybe?).
To be perfectly honest, I think I just justified why you should spend the $10 to get yourself the Pineapple corer. You eliminate the hassle of getting poked when coring your own pineapples, and, even better, you get a free disposable cup! Talk about a bargain.
