Satechi has a brand new Aluminum Mini Docking Station

aluminum-mini-docking-stationWhen it comes to peripherals, you know for sure that certain names happen to carry a whole lot more weight than others. Satechi is one of them, having been in the game for quite a while already, and this means that they do know how to get around when it comes to unveiling new products that not only look good, but also fulfill their functionality in a good manner as well. This time around, what do the folks over at Satechi have in store for us? It seems that a spanking new Aluminum Mini Docking Station is now in place, where this compact hub will be able to hook up to a user’s computer via USB, and by doing so, it expands its functionality as it offers a quartet of USB 3.0 ports that would certainly come in handy considering the rising number of USB 3.0 devices these days, in addition to a gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI and DVI video connections, not to mention a 3.5mm port for all connection needs, now how about that for convenience for the modern day road warrior?

In other words, the Aluminum Mini Docking Station will enable users to make use of a single centralized docking station in order to connect to multiple peripherals and devices at once. The docking station itself boasts of a quartet of high-speed USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port for 4K video output or multiple video out ports to make use of a computer with multiple monitors at high-speed. It has a small form factor, where it measures just less than 4” x 4” x 2”, and it provides users with valuable desk space without the need to hide any kind of important ports, and that certainly simplifies things as well.

Unfortunately, the Aluminum Mini Docking Station would arrive in only one color – that is, silver, and this means you might find it a wee bit more challenging to decorate your work area with it if silver’s not your cup of tea. Expect it to retail for $149.99 a pop.
