Razer updates their Blade laptop

razer-blade-2017Razer continues to blaze a trail with their latest gaming laptop, the Razer Blade. This new iteration will obviously feature brand new parts and innards which will raise its performance, helping gamers get their gaming kicks in wherever they are without having to worry about choppy frame rates or laggy performance. The latest version of the Razer Blade is touted to arrive with an updated CPU, faster memory as well as a brand new 4K UHD screen option. As a result, gamers who are always on the move will be able to enjoy a perfect balance of power, mobility and durability, alongside the now-signature elegant Razer Blade profile.

Sporting the latest generation of 7th Gen Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, the new Razer Blade will be more powerful and more efficient compared to its predecessor. The new CPU lets it achieve double-digit increases in productivity benchmarks, and it works with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics which ought to see unmatched frame rates delivered in an ultra-thin laptop form factor. Not only that, it is also lightweight in nature at just 0.70 inches thin, tipping the scales at slightly more than four pounds as it is encased in a unibody CNC aluminum chassis.

While a Full HD panel is standard on the new Razer Blade, there is a new 4K UHD touchscreen option for those who would like to up the ante. This provides the clarity of 4K resolution for ultimate picture quality as well as the convenience of a touchscreen interface. Perfect for video editing, music creation and software development, the Razer Blade will feature 16GB of RAM, Killer Wireless-AC and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. Not only that, depending on your budget, you can even squeeze in a PCIe SSD storage option of up to 1TB. The starting price for the new Razer Blade stands at a rather pricey $1,899, but you get what you pay for in this case.
