Panasonic showcases first Countertop Induction Oven

panasonic-cioPanasonic of Japan has come up with its fair share of home appliances in the past that intends to make life at home far more convenient and easier to out than ever before, and it does not look as though they are about to stop anytime soon. In fact, one of their latest innovations would be the first Countertop Induction Oven (CIO) in the world which was shown off at the International Home & Housewares Show.

”So what? It is just another oven,” you might think. Well, it would do you a whole lot of good if you were to think again, since this is a revolutionary idea where home appliances are concerned. The Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven will bring together proprietary induction and double-infrared heating technologies so that one can enjoy delicious food and healthy cooking options in a matter of minutes.

Drawing on over 40 years of history of innovation in induction heating technology, Panasonic’s Countertop Induction Oven will be able to quickly grill, bake, toast, and re-heat, doing all of those without much – or even no preheating at all, and this results in perfectly cooked meals. Thanks to the pre-set menu options and adjustable temperature control, the Panasonic CIO will do the hard work of guessing what needs to be done when one grills steaks, cooks chicken and vegetables all at once – except that the results will be pleasing to you tastebuds as they are more flavorful than ever before, being crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside.

This can be attributed to the combination of direct induction heat and a sealed, compact interior. Flavored, circulating steam does its bit to enhance taste, and the CIO’s unique, dishwasher-safe grill will lower excessive moisture and oil at the same time produce BBQ-quality sear and sizzle. The Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven will be out only in October later this year, although pricing remains to be determined as at press time.
