Optoma uhd51 projector

When it comes to projectors, these devices are pretty much straightforward without any hassle. The level of brightness in lumens, how large of a display it is able to project as well as the resolution, and the overall lamp life. Apart from that, there really isn’t anything much to think of, but Optoma decided to take things one step further by introducing the very first Alexa-enabled home theater projector from its stable. This is in line with building momentum behind smart home and IoT adoption and integration, where home theater enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the integration of large-screen video into their Alexa ecosystem. This mini projector from Optoma brings with it 4K UHD resolution and an LED light source that delivers 2,400 lumens.

Known as the Optoma UHD51A 4K UHD, this voice-enabled home theater projector would see integration with Amazon Alexa Smart Home and Custom Skills. Such a move paves open the door to enable projection to fluidly align with speakers, screen, lighting and others within any smart home setting. Apart from the 2,400 lumens light source, it also has a 500,000:1 contrast ratio, and an RGBRGB color wheel and HDR10 with Rec.2020 / DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut. All in all, expect the Optoma UHD51A to pack a visual punch, offering unprecedented levels of clarity, brightness and eye-popping color.

Not only that, it will be accompanied by an integrated 4K UHD media player and Android OS system, in addition to a couple of HDMI 2.0 inputs alongside HDCP 2.2 support so that it will be compatible with the latest 4K UHD video playback devices as well as game consoles with HDR at 60 Hz refresh rates. Your eyes and those of the audience will definitely appreciate it for its unmatched image smoothness. Expect the Optoma UHD51A to arrive some time late in the first quarter of 2018 with an asking price of $1,699 apiece.
