Motorola Video Phone

With all the different phones on the market it is becoming harder to pick the best one that suits one specific type of consumer, so if you are not into normal phones and prefer something with a futuristic look check out the Video Phone from Motorola. Besides the simple phone it has a “big” high resolution LCD display with a 19:6 format that is attached/located on the phone’s base.

On the strangely named “Motorola PVP1000 OJO Personal Video Phone“, the video playback has the support for 30 frames per second and the sound has top-notch quality according to the them. It uses the latest VoIP system to make voice calls on top of our current telephone number, for the video calls the features used are “IP video calls and PSTN”.

Other features include:

  • a mini camera located on top of the video display
  • Phonebook and called ID features with picture support
  • Speakerphone with echo cancellation
  • being a wireless phone
  • cool graphics making it an easy-to-use interface
  • creating video or audio messages easily

I feel embarrassed after looking at my normal house phone and this Motorola Video Phone, but I’m not seeing myself using the video features much so it’s all good. It is not a cheap phone, it costs $760.
