Misfit Path is now available

misfit-pathA regular watch is not something that many of us would think of getting these days, as we would most probably consider the advantages of picking up a smartwatch instead. After all, a smartwatch would be able to do so much more, not to mention look extremely stylish in the process. Misfit is a company that does not shy away from rolling out smartwatches, and their latest addition to their collection of hybrid smartwatches is known as the Misfit Path. The Misfit Path is now up for sale, where this particular advanced timepiece will be able to seamlessly blend such an iconic design of a classic analog watch alongside the powerful connectivity of a smartwatch.

Interestingly enough, the Misfit Path is the smallest and most minimalist hybrid smartwatch to date, where it delivers not only versatility but also elegance to a traditionally technology-focused wearable. Arriving in a sleek and delicate stainless steel case alongside matte finishing, the Path will discreetly conceal the modern day technology right behind a watch face which is modern enough to find its place in the world, while looking all chic and traditional. The gold tone details add a touch of elegance, while its silicon sport straps that arrive in fresh, soft colors has a hint of youthfulness about it.

Misfit has also taken a similar path to what Swatch did in the past, allowing the Path to feature interchangeable straps for a virtually endless number of styles, thanks to a wide range of 16mm strap options. The Path will be able to automatically track one’s steps, estimate the number of calories burned, the distance traveled, as well as the sleep duration and quality through a 3-axis accelerometer. Along the way, you can also create and receive customized call, text, email, and app notifications, helping you remain connected without having to check the display. Throwing in auto-update time and date functionality into the mix, with the ability to set a second time zone, create vibration alarms and movement reminders, and you’ve got quite the swimproof winner here (it is water resistant up to 50 meters). Available in Stainless Steel, Rose Tone, Gold Tone, and Stainless Steel with Gold Tone Accent colorways, the Misfit Path will be available for $149.99 apiece.
