Meizu M3 Max delivers a larger sized screen and bigger battery

meizu-m3-maxIs bigger better? That is what many smartphone companies would like you to think in recent years, as that is how the size of smartphones have grown, edging closer and closer to the tablet category that turns it into a phablet. Having said that, it is not a bad thing after all. You get more viewing real estate in the first place, in addition to being able to have a longer lasting battery due to the increased size. Meizu has also continued in the phablet trend with their latest Meizu M3 Max smartphone.

The Meizu M3 Max smartphone will target the young business elites, where among the main features of this device would be a 6” Full HD display, a 4,100mAh and 24W fast charging battery, 3GB of RAM that should be able to let you handle just about anything, 64GB of internal storage space, and a microSD memory card slot that lets you store up to 128GB of additional files and data.

Of course, it will run on top of the Android operating system platform with the Flyme skin, delivering business functions. Additional security options include fingerprint encryption, while there are also call note, multi-window mode and guest mode to choose from.

The 2.5D 6” LTPS touchscreen will deliver the advantages of low power consumption, a quick response time, high luminance and high aperture opening ratio. Not only that, for those who prefer to make use of their mobile devices in the dark, there is an eye protection mode that has been specially developed to make nighttime reading more comfortable.

An 8-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.8GHz and ARM’s 64-bit flagship GPU Mali-T860 will keep the Meizu M3 Max chugging along, while the back lies a 13MP camera that relies on the SONY IMX258 sensor, while the front is a 5MP sensor. Available in gray, silver, gold, blue, and rose gold shades, the Meizu M3 Max will retail for $255 a pop.
