LG V20 all set to replace the LG V10

lg-v10A company would not go anywhere if it were to rest on its laurels without rolling out something new for the masses, and I suppose the same can be said for the spanking new LG V20 that is all set to be revealed to the masses this coming third quarter of the year. LG has so far remained mum on the subject matter, revealing very little information concerning the device, but if the naming convention were to be taken into consideration, one can more or less say that the new LG V20 is all set to succeed the multimedia intensive LG V10 (that you see above) which was released last October.

One of the main rallying cries of the upcoming LG V20 would be the claim that this will be the first smartphone in the world that will launch with Android 7.0 Nougat in tow, right out of the box. In other words, it would even beat the likes of Google’s new Nexus devices to the punch, and no longer do users need to sit tight and fiddle their fingers as to when hardware manufacturers or mobile carriers will be issuing an operating system update.

Set to ship in the third quarter of this year, the LG V20 has been described to build upon the premium and rich multimedia smartphone experience that can be found on the LG V10. It will be specially tuned to take advantage of the numerous features found in Android 7.0 Nougat, where among them include Vulkan-supported graphics that can deliver a more immersive gaming experience, at the same time letting users enjoy better battery performance thanks to Doze. Not only that, consumers will also be able to be more productive with the likes of Direct Reply, as it allows users to quickly respond to text messages or update tasks via the notification interface.

This will be the second flagship smartphone release from LG this year, with the LG G5 being revealed earlier this April
