LG to introduce first ever compact laser projector for the home

lg-probeamHome cinema enthusiasts, 2017 is going to be a real exciting year for you. The folks over at LG have stepped forward to announce that they will be rolling out their very first compact laser projector that has been specially designed for those who have carefully crafted out a home cinema environment in their abode. Known as the LG ProBeam, this bad boy is capable of delivering 2,000 lumens of brightness without taking up too much space.

This kind of form factor makes the LG ProBeam more than ideal to deliver the perfect home cinema viewing experience. It will certainly go above and beyond the call of duty for the average home cinema viewer, as it complements its high level of performance alongside a degree of versatility in order for one to enjoy movies as well as TV programs — regardless of where they are, and it does not matter what time it is, too.

The LG ProBeam will boast of an advanced laser engine which can produce up to 2,000 lumens of brightness, letting you enjoy your favorite video content even if the room that you are in is filled with sunlight. Arriving in a slim, sleek design, this is one portable projector courtesy of its innovative I-shaped laser engine. It has a compact standing-type design, tipping the scales at just 4.6-pounds, making it the lightest Full HD laser projector in the brightness range of 2,000 lumens in the industry. The classic form factor would also make it a whole lot easier to blend in into any kind of situation.

Other features include the innovative Sound Sync Adjustment, letting you pair up the LG ProBeam with just about any Bluetooth audio product such as an external speaker or headphones. There is also the ability to take advantage of Miracast in order to project content from smart devices onto a large projection screen. No idea on pricing just yet, but we should be able to find out at CES 2017.
