is-for-androidViruses and malware happen to be quite a threat in this day and age, especially when one takes into consideration the sheer amount of mobile devices that we happen to own. Not only that, we are also less than careful with the passwords that we use, sometimes even sharing our social media passwords with others. Kaspersky Lab knows that it takes some effort to build a safety net in a connected lifestyle, which is why they have come up with a new version of Kaspersky Internet Security for Android that, apart from delivering improved performance speed and protection quality, it will also come with an option for managing protection via Android Wear devices.

Kaspersky Internet Security for Android will deliver protection from all sorts of of threats, and in a move to make it even more user-friendly and accessible, Kaspersky Lab has also rolled out an update that includes control via Android Wear smart watches. This means the user’s smartwatch will now show off notifications from Kaspersky Internet Security for Android, and can be installed on a paired smartphone or tablet. It will also play nice with Android 6.0 Marshmallow devices.

The new Kaspersky Internet Security for Android can be obtained right now from Google Play, on the Kaspersky Lab site, and also as part of Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device and Kaspersky Total Security – Multi-Device. If you would like to have a little bit more peace of mind when it comes to the security of your mobile devices, surely this is a little investment not to be ignored in the long run!

Apart from having more protection against malicious software and websites, the solution will also come with tools to remotely control a device if it’s lost or stolen, and can filter out unwanted calls and messages, and to hide personal data from prying eyes. Not only that, you are also able to control the product remotely through the My Kaspersky portal, for instance, to activate the Anti-Theft function, to enable or disable the Privacy Protection function or to update anti-virus databases.
