HTC is a name that many of us are familiar with, especially where their range of smartphones are concerned. The Taiwanese company has churned out its fair share of winners in the past, although in recent times, they have not exactly been bouncing off the walls in terms of profit and market share. Still, this does not mean that HTC has not future – their HTC Vive is a unique take on the up and coming VR market, while they have not abandoned their bread and butter device just yet, which is the smartphone. The latest model from HTC that is all set to be introduced in the US would be the HTC Desire 530 from the Desire range.
The HTC Desire 530 is all set to roll out in the US, where it will be specially customized to arrive with a uniquely created micro splash effect on the polycarbonate shell, ensuring that every single handset that is sold to the masses will not only be personal, but unique as well. I suppose this is where the market has been heading for some time now, where everyone wants to be special and unique in their very own way.
In terms of performance, the HTC Desire 530 will not be a flagship device, so making comparisons of it to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 or the iPhone 6s would be out of the picture. Still, what does the HTC Desire 530 bring to the table? It will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that boasts of Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie modes so that you will be able to shoot without having to grapple with that virtual button.
Located at the back would be an 8-megapixel camera that sports a built-in BSI sensor which will increase the amount of light captured, ensuring that you end up with great images regardless of the time of day. Other features such as burst shot and sweep panorama allow you to freeze movement and create professional looking landscape photos, with Google Photos providing storage for pictures and videos.
Other features include HTC BoomSound profile, a 5-inch HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and Android 6.0 in tow. One can choose from Blue Lagoon, Sprinkle White or Stratus White colors as it arrives on T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless in both prepaid and postpaid options.
