Heatworks MODEL 1 comes with energy transfer technology

The truth is, not all water heaters are the same, and this means that they are not all created equal. Having said that, here is a different take on what a water heater should be like, in the form of the Heatworks MODEL 1.

According to Heatworks CEO Jerry Callahan, “In the electric category, the new standard effectively prohibits 55 gallon or greater water heaters. Standard 65-gallon and 80-gallon electric water heaters will disappear from the market completely, and homeowners who want these large capacity units will have to invest double in a heat pump driven design that meets DOE efficiency standards.”

What does this mean for plumbers and installers? Well, the brand new regulations would result in changes to the size and weight of products, not to mention increased costs, and complexities that will be in addition to the likes of transportation, storage and installation. With the Heatworks MODEL 1, things are supposed to change for the better though.

The Heatworks MODEL 1 will merge the small footprint of a tankless water heater thanks to its special energy transfer technology, where every single water heating system out there will make use of a heating element. This heating element, over time, will be subject to plating, calcification and as the ultimate result, failure. The Heatworks MODEL 1 is very different since it lacks traditional heating elements to begin with, and in other words, offers maintenance-free use.

This is made possible courtesy of the MODEL 1’s innovative and patented energy transfer technology, where it will end up being the most energy efficient water heater in the world. All electric current will be passed through graphite electrodes so that the water can be heated, while the electrodes never end up hotter than the water being heated, now how about that?
