Mention the name Griffin Technology, and chances are you would have in mind at least one of their award-winning and thoughtfully designed mobile accessories. It looks like Griffin Technology would like to lighten your load, so to speak, this time around with a new collection of bags that will make up part of its best-selling Survivor range. the Survivor Backpack and Survivor Briefcase, where both of these happen to be TSA-compliant to make sure that you need not end up with broken zippers or locks upon your arrival, and at the same time, get to enjoy crush-and-weather-proof protection for laptops, tablets and other technological devices regardless of how far you travel.
The Survivor Backpack and the Survivor Briefcase will boast of adequate room for all the gear users require, where among them include a 15” laptop, a full-size tablet and smartphone in padded, weatherproof compartments. Specially built with convenience and usability in mind, the main compartments will be surrounded by an internal shatter-proof plastic shell and honeycombed sidewalls to ensure impact protection and will remain sealed from rain, snow and sleet with weatherproof zippers. There are also wide, padded shoulder straps that are lined with breathable mesh for comfort. When merged with a water-resistant ballistic nylon construction and a molded, high-density foam and padded pocket, the Survivor Backpack would be able to protect gear from 6-foot drops while the Survivor Briefcase is a wee bit less hardy with protection from 4-foot drops.
Sporting a 30-liter overall capacity, the Survivor Backpack will retail for $225.99 a pop and comes with a total of 16 compartments and pockets to store and organize cables, chargers, pens, change, tickets and everything else that do seem to be “floaters” in a regular backpack. As for the Survivor Briefcase that is obviously smaller with a 20-liter total capacity, it will retail for a more affordable $189.99 while boasting of 10 compartments and pockets to carry all the gear you need for everyday journeys.
