We’re so used to driving on asphalt covered roads. Painted lines tell us which way to turn, what lane to stay in and where we should park. We have to be careful of how fast we’re going, pay close attention to who all is driving around us and whether or not they’re paying attention. It’s stressful to drive on busy roads, and being able to offroad without the fear of running into anything for miles around seems like a dream come true.
There are few places you can actually do that, sadly. However, on the water, the rules are a bit different. No one is telling you when to stop or go, to check your speed or wear a seat belt. If you like the idea of being able to take your own pace, but not going so fast that you’ll snap some bones, then the Escapade Pedal Boat would be a lovely way to escape the stressors of daily life. It is designed to move quickly and efficiently despite the water and wind, and can accommodate three people. One will have to take on the task of driver alone though.
There’s a manual bilge pump for times when the rain decides to fill the boat, which hopefully won’t be too regular of an occurrence. Taking a jaunt in this will cost you $3,150, as well as repairs, the cost of the trailer to move it, and other fees that surely exist within the boating realm. You’ll also want to make sure that the area you’re boating in isn’t highly populated, as there aren’t lines to keep others in check. On second thought, maybe walking is better.
