Epson announces Mobilink P80 Plus printer

mobilink-p80-plusNow, printers are not exactly the kind of devices released which will set pulses racing, but then again, they tend to play a very important and crucial role in many of our lives – especially when it comes to the checkout counter. Well, Epson is an old hat when it comes to rolling out mobile printers, and their latest release would not target the home market, but rather, the enterprise one in the form of the Epson Mobilink P80 Plus printer.

What makes the Epson Mobilink P80 Plus printer special would be the fact that it allows customers in retail and hospitality to improve transaction accuracy, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and organizational productivity. The Mobilink P80 Plus is capable of doing so as it leverages Epson’s ePOS Print and Server Direct Print technologies with superior autocutter functionality in order to get customers in and out of establishments quickly.

In fact, the Mobilink P80 Plus printer happens to be the industry’s first 3″ mobile printer with autocutter, where it is being paraded right now at RSPA RetailNOW, Gaylord Palm Resort & Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. In terms of performance, the lightweight, Mobilink P80 Plus is capable of offering ultra fast print speed with speeds up to 100mm/second, long battery life of up to 33 hours, paper-saving options that will supposedly reduce usage up to 23%, as well as connectivity options required to meet the requirements of today’s iOS, Android and Windows printing applications. Not only that, the new built in autocutter will have the ability to cut receipts with clean, smooth edges.

Not only that, there will also be the Epson Mobilink P20 ultra compact 2″ receipt printer that tips the scales at a mere 0.50 lbs, allowing it to fit in the palm of your hand without missing a beat. It can deliver all the features that you need in order to print anywhere, anytime. Since it also features Epson’s ePOS Print technology, it can print directly from compatible POS applications with popular mobile devices running an iOS, Android or Windows operating system.
