Doppler Labs launches Here One wireless listening system

doppler-here-oneYou might not have heard of Doppler Labs before, but they happen to be a diverse group of creative thinkers, engineers, designers, and business leaders, which is also the very same team behind the acclaimed Here Active Listening System. This time around, the folks over at Doppler Labs have announced its flagship product, which will be known as the Here One. The Here One is very special since it lays claim to be the world’s first all-in-one wireless listening system.

Sporting a pair of wireless smart buds as well as a connected app that will function as a remote control for the buds, the Here One merges the functionality of conventional headphones as it streams music and wireless phone calls alongside Here’s proprietary smart listening and noise filtering technologies. It is equally at home when it comes to reducing noise (such as a crying baby), amplifying speech, accessing Siri or Google Now, streaming music, taking phone calls, or layering digital audio over real-world sound (stream Spotify on a run safely aware of what’s around you), as the Here One does all of that without missing a beat.

It can be said that the Here One is the evolution of Here Active Listening, Doppler Lab’s “concept car.” Available within a limited production run of 10,000 units, Here Active Listening has its focus on augmenting real-world sound, mainly for live music experiences. Ever since the Here Active Listening was introduced, demand has surged with close to 100,000 people have joined the waitlist for a chance to purchase the product.

Some of the select Here One features will include true wireless streaming capability, the ability to answer phone calls from your buds themselves, smart noise filters that does away with unwanted noise so that you can carry on with your conversation uninterrupted, speech amplification for crystal clear communication, and even transform real-world sound using volume, EQ, and sound effects.

Those who are interested will be able to place a pre-order for the Here One for $299 a pop, with shipping set to commence this holiday season.
