When you’re hardly ever home, the challenge for keeping your gear charged is unending. Normally you’ll buy a power bank and hope it lasts you long enough, but some days are just too hectic, and you end up disconnected from the world. Obviously that’s just not acceptable, so your backup plan A and B need backup plans of their own.
If you live in an area that sees a lot of sun, then you probably own at least one pair of sunglasses. Some like to be stylish and have multiples so they can coordinate with their outfits, but functionality and not spending copious amounts on many different pairs of shades can be just as effective. Of course, they don’t just have to be normal sunglasses that block your eyes from the rays of the sun. They can be far more…entertaining.
Everyone exceeds the speed limit whether they mean to or not. When you’re on a long stretch of road for seemingly endless miles with no cars coming or going, you’re going to be a bit lead-footed so you can get to where you’re going faster. Of course, there are police officers who need to do their jobs, and sometimes we forget how fast we’re going when we get closer to civilization.
When it comes to mobile accessories, Kanex is a pretty decent option if you want something that does not break the bank, and neither will it make you look tacky toting it around. This summer might be drawing to a close in due time, but it does not mean that you should put all of your traveling plans on hold simply because you have no idea on how to pack with your slew of gizmos and gadgets. Kanex has the answer to many of such “questions”, offering a range of portable power and connectivity solutions.
If you’re always getting on and off of planes, then you know how obnoxious the security procedures can be to get to your gate. Security always makes you feel like you’re enemy #1 with scanners, pat-downs, opening and emptying your luggage, and making you throw away something that is more than obviously not a threat. There are times where TSA agents are also just in a bad mood, and make it even more difficult to get through security than it was previously.
If you watch any movies that came out before mobile phones were in everyone’s hands, you might see someone getting pushed into a pool. At the time those movies came out, it was a laughable offense as the freshly soaked person would have to get a new set of clothes and shower to rectify the situation. Anymore, that would be a death sentence as we carry our smartphones (our entire lives) in our pockets. Not having access to your phone is like not being able to breathe, which is why traveling can always put you on edge.
When you travel for work, you have to deal with airports, cabs, walking, buses, trains, subways, and any other mode of transport you’re stuck with in the local area. Sometimes you’re lucky and have space to put your luggage down, other times it all sits in your lap, and you’re constantly readjusting yourself. You find yourself buying more and more bags to accommodate your clothes and gear, as nothing seems to hold it all nicely.
If anything is going to make you want to pull your hair out, it’s traveling. Everything is a deadline, and if you’re flying, getting through security can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 or more hours. Getting from one gate to another on a layover can show you how good of a runner you are as some airports are huge and you end up getting onto the plane as a sweaty, hot mess.
Much of the populace is wishing there was a happy medium between living off the land and the grid, but in a way where you’d still be able to get a mocha and scroll through Facebook at leisure. While we have gotten accustomed to certain luxuries, there are ways to bridge gaps between the modern world and an Eco-friendly one. We’ve seen tons of gadgets that are starting to do this more and more, but the only ones we really care about involve coffee.
We’ve all had a sunburn at least once. Whether or not you made a conscious effort to put on sunscreen doesn’t usually matter because we always miss a spot and end up with a burn. Of course, when you only have one burn it’s easy to forget about, which leads us to smacking it into what feels like everything as we try and go about our lives like normal.
