If you’re part of the selfie craze and have yet to get a remote shutter control, chances are you’re in the market for one. The only annoying part about having one is making sure you store it in a safe place, as most of these things are not very big, and can be easy to lose. While you could always search for one that will alert you if you’re about to leave it behind, why not just integrate it into your phone case?
It’s that time of year again where we adorn our home with lights, poinsettias, and various nods to Old St. Nick. We feel more giving than normal, but also secretly (and sometimes not so secretly) hope everyone else is in the giving mood too. While this is certainly a time for traditions, that doesn’t mean we have to be completely stuck in our old ways.
When you’re learning a language, it can be difficult to remember all the words and grammatical points. If you’re in a country and trying the immersion method of learning the native tongue, then you likely have a language dictionary on hand. Of course, it can take a while to flip through the pages and find the one or two words that you need to carry on conversation.
Very few people have good posture. We sit in front of our screens worming around for hours on end, but hardly ever sit how we’re “supposed to”. We’ve all seen the pictures of how you’re supposed to sit, with your body at the optimal height so your wrists hit the keyboard at just the right angle and your feet perfectly meet the floor. In real life, that hardly happens, and very few of us have the money to sink into chairs and desks that can accommodate us perfectly.
If you love gadgets, then you’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest contraption. Whether it’s big and bulky or petite and portable, it needs to be super functional and fit your style. The more uses crammed into a single gizmo the better.
Being a cyclist, you have a metric ton of gadgets to put on your bike. You want to make sure you have lights on the front to see where you’re going, on the back so others can see you, a navigation system with a phone mount, and a bell to let pedestrians know if you’re coming up behind them. There are even more gadgets you can get to give your bike turning signals and extra visibility, but wouldn’t it be nice if you only needed to buy one setup to do everything?
We love listening to our tunes throughout the day, but we usually have several different methods of getting the music to our ears. There are speakers, headphones, ear buds, and even bone conduction systems to try and deliver your music to you in the most efficient and comfortable way possible. If you’re an avid outdoor explorer, and wish you had headphones that could match your stride, then you’re going to want a pair that is multi-functional so you won’t have to switch out.
Having a smartphone is good and well, but it’s hard to get much work done as you can’t see what you’re doing on such a tiny screen. The same is true even with a tablet, thanks to the keyboard taking up much of the screen space. If you like to be productive even when you’re away from your desk, then having a Bluetooth keyboard would aid your productivity ten fold. Of course, the real challenge is finding the right keyboard for you, as there are a myriad of options out there. We want something that works well, is cheap, and fits our aesthetics.
We all want better quality speakers, and it always helps if the sound-boosting device we get is cute. There are more options than can be counted out there which have different shapes, sizes and features. While I understand that coffee is a mainstay for most human beings at this point, it’s probably not the wisest decision to make a speaker that looks like a coffee mug.
