I remember when our boy was first born, I reeled over the cost of baby food. But what can you do, they have you over a barrel as a concerned parent isn’t about to strike out on their own to make pureed food for their child’s sensitive stomachs. Or are they? I have to admit, I would’ve tried the Beaba BabyCook.
The Beaba Babycook is designed to make food for babies aged six months to two years and is a typical countertop device that looks like a food processor. And that’s precisely what it is. But what it processes is a seriously pureed baby food that’s also steam cooked, blended, and made from home made ingredients. Very nice. Mothers will love their being able to control what goes into their baby’s food, they won’t have to worry about additives. And everything is fresh. And it takes half the time to make a baby meal as it does to make your average evening dinner.
The Babycook can also be used to reheat or defrost food, so parents can make baby meals in advance and freeze them. The Babycook comes with a two and half cup capacity bowl (interesting number) as well as cooking basket, spatula, and even a baby food cook book to help moms and dads get started in the culinary adventure of making their own babyfood. And all components are dishwasher safe to boot.

And as an accessory, there’s the Beaba Multiportion Freezer Tray as well.
Sure wish I had this gadget in the 90s.
