Asus Transformer 3 Pro is one versatile PC

Transformer 3 ProI do not know about you, but when a company claims that its particular product is superlative in one way or another – such as “thinnest”, or “lightest”, I will then put on my skeptical glasses and look into the matter more closely. Is it in its class that it laid claim to such a status, or is it really a broad generalization? What if it is just for a moment before another product takes its claim to fame away? Regardless, it is always wise to investigate such superlatives, just as how Asus has touted its new Asus Transformer 3 Pro to be the most versatile PC in the world earlier this month.

Yes, we looked at the Asus Transformer 3, but did you know that there is also a Pro version that we will talk about today? The Asus Transformer 3 Pro happens to be a 2-in-1 PC which will bring together unrivalled performance alongside incredible portability in order to create the ultimate mobile device for work and play. It has been precision crafted from aluminum, which means the Asus Transformer 3 Pro is all of just 8.35mm thin, and yet comes with incredible structural strength and rigidity. Not only that, the Asus Transformer 3 Pro will feature diamond-cut detailing that accentuates its elegant design, and it is available in gorgeous Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray color options.

It comes with an integrated metal kickstand with a stepless hinge, letting one set the device at almost any viewing angle up to 170°. There is also the accompanying Asus Transformer Cover Keyboard which will feature a backlit keyboard, delivering laptop-grade 1.4mm key travel for a comfortable typing experience. Your eyes will enjoy the 12.6” display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 and a 275ppi pixel density, while dual front stereo speakers with audio by Harman Kardon offers spacious, defined sound for incredible listening experiences.

Underneath the hood, there is an Intel Core i7 processor that runs the show, accompanied by up to a 1TB PCIe x4 SSD and 16GB of 2133MHz RAM for the ultimate performance. It will also boast of USB Type-C connectivity, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, a 13MP rear camera, and a front-facing camera with Windows Hello facial recognition to boot. Certainly, the claims by Asus for the Transformer 3 Pro are not something ludicrous for sure!
