Here is a new MP3 player which may finally contest Apple’s iPod and has some very interesting features. The Asono M1 combines the size and functionality of the iPod nano, however it also has high quality video playback so you can watch videos on a small, pocket-sized MP3 player.
Sizes range from 1-4GB of flash memory so you can store your favorite videos, music and photos. MP3 and WMA (DRM) file types are supported for audio, AVI, DIVX, WMV, and ASF file types are supported for video, and most image file types are supported, allowing you to have your own media center right in your pocket.
The player is just about the size of a credit card measuring 40 x 87 x 7.4mm and weighing just 30 grams! The video screen is 1.5″, so it’s not actually all that bad for watching video clips. It is an OLED screen with 65000 colors.
The battery is also very impressive. It is a Li-ion polymer battery can play for a full 15 hours of audio playback, and an amazing 3.5 hours of video playback! The battery can charge in just 3 hours as well so it’s great for long trips.
