When it comes to the world of smartphones, there are dime a dozen models from which one is able to choose from – the trick is you would first need to know just what your needs are exactly before you decide to take the plunge. After all, those of you who are aiming high would definitely know by now that those handsets that reside on the high end spectrum of things can cost a pretty penny, although thankfully, it does not have that kind of binding commitment like a marriage. Well, French brand Archos has stepped forward with the Archos Diamond S.
Basically, the Archos Diamond S is a device that intends to aim high without breaking the bank. The all new Archos Diamond S would demonstrate a high-tech spirit that builds upon its legacy, where it will run on a powerful octa-core processor with an external design that will not cost you more than £159.99 a pop.
Your eyes will be enchanted by the 5” Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 3 screen that would certainly place this handset in the high end side of things. With a flat, glass-finish design, it is a perfect external manifestation of the outstanding technology that lies within the device.
Apart from the octa-core processor as mentioned earlier, this model will also boast of 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, letting you get started right from the get go without having to compromise in speed and storage. Android 5.1 Lollipop will arrive pre-installed on the device, which means you need not wait for a software update, either.
In terms of capturing memories with the Archos Diamond S, it will arrive with dual cameras – where the back is a 16MP shooter that should be able to capture all of your favorite moments without a cinch, while selfie lovers would fall for the 8MP front-facing shooter. 4G/LTE connectivity is also thrown into the mix for speedy connectivity no matter where you are. Expect the Archos Diamond S to be fully unveiled at IFA 2015 that is happening early next month before it hits the market this November.
