AOC, a famous display specialist, alongside legendary design house Studio F. A. Porsche, have come together to deliver not one, but two incredible-looking monitors to the masses. The all new 24” AOC PDS241 and 27” AOC PDS271 will both arrive equipped with close to a frameless IPS panel, in addition to an asymmetrical metal stand, all crammed into an ultra-slim, premium design.
When a name like Porsche is in the picture, you can be sure that it is going to offer some future forward styling and design. The design philosophy that is right behind these monitors happen to follow similar principals of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, and seeing a monitor to be more than just a screen, it has been designed to deliver a beautiful visual experience. This particular new AOC PDS series will change the way one approaches traditional monitor design.
Sporting what is deemed to be the very first modular input/output design on a monitor, the PDS241 and PDS271 will merge both power and HDMI outputs into a single cable, which will come out of the stand itself. This will add to the overall beauty of the minimalist design, and the Full HD IPS panels deliver a great level of performance enhanced with AOC SuperColor Technology, which will augment the color spectrum to cover a wider color gamut and provide excellent viewing angles of 178°. These monitors are able to cover 100 percent of the sRGB and 90 percent of the NTSC color spaces. Apart from that, the PDS series will also be equipped with AOC’s LowBlue Mode and FlickerFree technologies, hence offering a healthy and enjoyable viewing experience even when you are using it for prolonged periods.
The PDS 241 and PDS271 are set to roll out this coming July 1, 2017, will retail for $199 and $249, respectively.
