Cherry MW8 advanced wireless mouse

Are all computer mice created equal? Gamers will tell you with a very strong personal conviction that the answer is a resounding “No!”. Regular office workers might find the mouse to be something that they do not give much thought to, but if you would like to see your productivity amped by a degree, perhaps it would be wise to take the Cherry MW8 advanced wireless mouse into consideration as this peripheral comes with a slew of innovative features that has been specially built-in so that it is able to meet the highest standards of the most discerning user.

While looks are not everything, I am stoked to see that the Cherry MW8 advanced wireless mouse does have its fair share of great looking aesthetics. Sporting an elegant metal surface that is made of brushed aluminum, you can see from the first glance that a great deal of thought has gone into its design. There are rubber pads which feature the Voronoi cell structure on both sides of the mouse so that one will be able to have a good grip at all times. Fitting the hand perfectly, the Cherry MW8 is the perfect fit for just about everybody’s hand.

In addition, there is an extra durable mouse wheel that is accompanied by optical scanning, a magnetic lock for the USB receiver so that it does not go missing, and a transport bag for easy carrying around. All of these features make the Cherry MW8 equally well-suited to both mobile and stationary applications. In terms of performance, this wireless mouse has a high-precision PixArt “track-on-glass” laser navigation sensor with optical scanning that ensures it will work on nearly any surface – glass included, sans a mouse pad.

The sensor resolution can be adjusted on-the-fly between 600, 1000, 1600, and 3200 DPI (dots per inch), make it suitable for use with 4K monitors. It can connect via 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth

The MW 8 ADVANCED also has multiple connectivity options. Users can simply connect the mouse to a compatible system using the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 functionality. Alternatively, one can use the supplied USB receiver to establish a 2.4 GHz wireless connection secured with AES-128 encryption. There are two modes of connectivity that can be adjusted by sliding the switch that is located at the bottom, allowing you to switch between a notebook and desktop PC without any fuss. Powered by a 550mAh lithium battery, a single full charge lasts up to 70 days, with a two-color status LED offering information about the existing battery charge.
