Huawei MateBook PCs up for US pre-order

When it comes to stunning looking notebooks, there are quite a few candidates for consumers to sniff out. However, the MacBook Air continues to remain the everyday standard that many look up to, but this is not to say that Windows-powered notebooks continue to look their haggard selves. Far from it. Huawei has ensured that their next generation MateBook PCs are great lookers, and then some, having opened up pre-orders for their next generation MateBook in the US which will surely see a whole lot more improvements compared to its predecessor.

 The Huawei MateBook X, MateBook E and MateBook D have all been developed with one thing in mind — to bridge mobility as well as personal computing by offering customers a single device which is able to do just about everything.

The Huawei MateBook X happens to be the first 13-inch fanless laptop in the world which measures 12.5mm thick and tips the scales at 2.31 lbs. This merges style, quality and performance into a single device, boasting of an unprecedented 88 percent screen-to-body ratio, 4.4mm narrow bezels and 3:2 aspect ratio for consumers to enjoy the ultimate mobile PC experience. It sports an elegant metallic unibody and will arrive in Prestige Gold and Space Gray colors.

As for the Huawei MateBook E, this 2-in-1 device will feature high quality aluminum with advanced CNC diamond-cut finishing. At slightly more than a pound in weight with a 6.9mm thin chassis, this thin and lightweight device is so portable, you will appreciate its 2K display touchscreen and a full-size chiclet keyboard. Choose from Titanium Gray with a blue Folio Keyboard or Champagne Gold with a brown Folio Keyboard.

For most other people, the Huawei MateBook D is a 15.6-inch notebook with an 83 percent screen-to-body ratio, accompanied by a crystal-clear display, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics and 2GB GDDR5 video memory for a perfect combination of performance and style. You can only have the MateBook D in Champagne Gold though.

All MateBooks will feature one free year of Microsoft Office 365 Personal software, and prices for the MateBook X, MateBook E, and MateBook D start from $1,099.99, $799.99, and $699.99, respectively.
