This is the South Korean company’s premium range of LED-backlit LCD 4K UHD TVs, which were seen at the previewed at CES 2016. Available from this month onward, the LG Super UHD TV models will boast of LG’s most advanced LED picture quality to date, delivering the first complete high dynamic range (HDR) experience alongside support for both DolbyVision and HDR10. Certainly, LG’s expertise in the high end TV market continues to shine like a bright beacon in the industry.
The 2016 LG Super UHD range will comprise of three series (UH9500, UH8500, UH7700) with nine models in 55- to 86-inch class screen sizes. The whole LG Super UHD range boasts of LG’s advanced IPS 4K Quantum display technologies, which is said to enhance color reproduction, working in tandem with the LG Color Prime Plus that delivers vivid images with greater depth and realism through the magnification of the range of colors on display, alongside its “Billion Rich Colors” feature that will make use of 10-bit processing power inorder to render more than one billion possible colors for impressive realism.
All of them will also be accompanied by the latest webOS Smart TV platform, which is LG’s webOS 3.0 that will include hooking up to broadcast TV, streaming services and external devices in a simple and fast manner. Of course, all of those will be fine and dandy, and more importantly, the aesthetics of these new Super UHD TVs will also do their bit in complementing your interior home decoration.
