While our smart devices help us get things done faster and live more efficiently, we start to become accustomed to more and more instantaneous results. We’re always looking for ways to shave seconds off of our interactions with our devices, which is why smartwatches made such a big boom. Of course, even with this device, there are still ways to cut down on your time dealing with your gizmos and gadgets.
This Neyya Smart Ring is looking to help you zoom through life at the speed of swipe. This uses gestures such as swiping and tapping to let you have full control over your presentations, calls, music, camera, and more. It is meant to act as a universal remote for everything from your TV to mobile phone, and only takes 60 seconds to set up once it’s out of the box. It also has the capability to give you notifications through vibration for smartphone alerts and reminders. Thankfully you won’t have to worry about installing software, and it should work with most smartphones, Macbooks, and Windows 8 or 10.
This comes in sizes 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13, which should hopefully cover a large enough range that no one is left out. There are options of a silver sterling titanium or a medallion gold finish. While it is a neat notion to be able to control everything without having to touch your phone, this $139 purchase might be priced a bit too high for a wearable universal remote.
