Griffin has worked with Crayola before to deliver their fair share of iPad accessories such as the Crayola Light Marker, and this time around, both of them have worked on the updated version of the latest Crayola iMarker and Trace & Draw accessories for the Apple iPad. Those will be accompanied by a range of compatible Crayola apps, enabling the Crayola iMarker and Trace & Draw to empower young artists so that they can blend in traditional coloring activities alongside mobile technology – all without making a mess that would exhaust even the most tired parent after a long day at the office.
With the new Crayola-inspired coloring accessories and apps, they are able to keep children entertained for hours on end, making them as extremely “effective” babysitters, so to speak, especially when it comes to extremely long road trips and holiday travel. The vibrantly colored iMarker will retail for $29.99, where this is a kid-friendly stylus that packs in all of your favorite crayons, pencils and markers into the perfect shape that little hands will grasp and use easily, making it a snap to tote around as you move.
When you use it with the free Color 360 app, your iPad (2nd, 3rd and 4th generation), iPad Air and iPad mini will magically be turned into a fun and interactive digital coloring book alongside animations and sound effects. Color 360 would bring your child’s imagination to a whole new level, that’s for sure.
The iMarker compatible apps will be able to know automatically whether an iMarker or a child’s finger is being used, paving the way for intuitive, creative play with color and going where the child intended. This palm rejection feature would ensure there are not frustrations which hail from stray coloring marks that would inevitably mess up the child’s artwork.
Setting it up is a snap – just insert the included single AAA battery, turn the stylus on, install one of the compatible apps, and you’re good to go. There will be access to the 64 classic Crayola colors alongside a bevy of tools such as pens, markers, crayons, and brushes among others.
