GAEMS Vanguard – video games are moving away from the couch

Gaems Vanguard

Is playing video games the best part of your day? Do you wish you didn’t have to be home in your living room or at your desk to play? Using your phone to play an app-version of a game that would be far more exhilarating on a bigger screen is only so much fun. What if you had a portable gaming station that had everything you needed to play your favorite games on the go?

The GAEMS Vanguard is an important-looking briefcase that will carry your preferred console anywhere you care to bring it. While their page says to use either a PS3 or Xbox 360 (not included), I’m sure you can use whatever console will play along with the monitor and speakers (it may not fit in the foam padding perfectly though). The LED display is 19”, and the stereo speakers plug in via 3.5mm jack.

There are spaces to secure your console, controllers, and power supply so you don’t have to worry about over-loading the bag that carries your regular arsenal of daily gear. This comes with an HDMI cable and a 100-240v power supply. If you are prepared to pay $350 for what is essentially a carrying case, make sure you would actually put it to use. Of course, do try and make sure you’re not playing Call of Duty while at work. This would be perfect for those who live on the road, or people who live alone and don’t want to buy an entire entertainment center.

Available for purchase on GAEMSpge, found via redferret
