Our gadgets are important to us. How we look, is also somewhat important to us. It’s only been in the last few years that being ‘nerdy’ has become a trend, as it certainly didn’t have a positive connotation beforehand. If you enjoy wearing your badge of geekery with pride, but still want to look somewhat professional, you have to dress yourself accordingly.
We keep so many things in our pockets and bags that it’s starting to become annoying trying to keep track of it all. Things were bad enough when you just had your keys and wallet, but now there’s a phone, cables, and other gizmos tossed into the mix. We don’t want to make things too difficult for ourselves, and as such try to find new ways to combine the things that we deem necessary to have around.
Gamers are an interesting lot. Some of them are even willing to starve when it comes to saving up for the latest gaming peripherals, to make sure that they are able up the ante when it comes to the next fragging session. I know this to be true, as back in my poor student days (and this is not to say I am filthy rich right now), I used to skip meals just so I can get better in a particular game, not to mention save up for the next Razer mouse that is announced. Having said that, a good keyboard is also an essential part of any gamer’s repertoire, and the Feenix Autore could very well fit the bill for those who are aiming for something higher end than normal.
You can run, and you can hide, but your phone is still going to die half way through the day. You can’t fight the urge to play games and see what’s going on in the world through social media either. Of course, being afraid of your phone dying is only fear of the inevitable, which will lead to anger, hate, and suffering over the fact that battery life on all phones is just terrible.
Regardless of where you are or what you’re doing, there is always a deadline looming overhead. You can let it get to you and worry about it constantly, or chip away at your work over time so that it can’t best you. Of course, switching to work mode isn’t always as easy pulling out your laptop. Many people need a quiet place to work, or at least the visual aspect of a workstation to let them focus.
We’ve all had the pleasure of slipping and falling on our bums at least once or twice during the cold months. You can’t stop the snow and ice from coming, but you can find ways to make it less of a crap shoot to live through. We salt our driveways, bundle up in extra layers, and shovel snow, but when you get to the front steps, they’re laden with ice.
