Jabra enhances Jabra Sports portfolio with a couple more offerings

When it comes to Bluetooth headsets, you can’t go wrong with Jabra – after all, the company has long worked on Bluetooth devices ever since the technology was included in cell phones all those years ago. Well, Jabra perceives that there is a need to fill up a void in the market where wireless headsets that target the active have less than the usual number of suspects.

Having said that, Jabra has decided to expand their Sports portfolio with a couple more systems – and we’re talking about models that were specially designed for active use, boasting a new corded wearing style – known as the SPORT and SPORT-CORDED. These will specifically target those who lead an active lifestyle, where from the name itself, you can tell whether you want to live out the corded or wireless way.

The Jabra SPORT is the company’s first wireless Bluetooth stereo device that will allow you to enjoy your favorite tunes while attending to incoming calls all at once without having to remain tethered to your mobile or music device.

Not only that, this model will boast of a category-first built-in FM radio, A2DP technology, and powerful bass that will definitely make your workout far more manageable. The Jabra SPORT enables an even wider variety of music options whenever you decide to hit the treadmill, sporting easy-to-use controls. To make sure communication with the other person on the line remains crystal clear, this stereo headset also comes with a wind-shielded microphone, and it will comply with US Military Standard Rain, Dust and Shock Resistance.

When you purchase the Jabra SPORT, that model will ship with a free download of Endomondo Sports Tracker, which is actually a fitness tracking application that will target smartphones, where it works as a motivational tool for runners who want quick access to speed, distance, and lap time updates.

The Jabra SPORT Bluetooth stereo headset will retail for $99 a pop, while the Jabra SPORT-CORDED stereo headset is a good 30% cheaper at $69.
