Heard of Zero1.tv before? Just in case you haven’t, Zero1.tv is actually the leading provider of user interfaces where home entertainment solutions are concerned. Well, the company is pleased to announce their latest release known as VooMote One. The VooMote One will need to be paired to a compatible app (which will be free, of course), where it will then convert your iPhone and/or iPod touch into an universal remote control without breaking a sweat. Of course, the good news does not stop there as the VooMote One is capable of much more than just creating a remote control.

The VooMote One will slide nicely into your iPhone as though they were meant for one another. Despite that, your iPhone’s functionality will not be gimped in any way, since you will still retain full control of the iPhone. When connected with a loaded app, your hand will hold a fully functional universal remote that commands instant attention from your TVs, DVD players, stereo systems, and a myriad of consumer electronic devices.

I see that you’re yawning, and wondering just what else does Zero1.tv have up their sleeves to color you impressed. Well, the VooMote One will let you utilize the “One View” feature that enables you to create personalized and multiple device remote control layouts. To put it in a nutshell, you can always lower the volume on the stereo while pressing play within seconds. The “One Touch” feature also lets a single click kick off a whole chain of commands.

Who would have thought that just pressing one button is good enough for you to gain control of the whole Brady Bunch in your living room? It is also relatively easy to use, since the VooMote One setup wizard requires just a few quick steps. When you are done with the setup, you can further organize your universal remote with the “Room Control” feature. Basically, this will divide your electronic devices by location, so you can have personalized control in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, for example.

A “Teach-In” feature also lets the VooMote One be a pupil so that it can be the master later on, “learning” some of the less acquainted devices around the home. All you need to do is point it at the original remote control and watch the magic unfold. The VooMote One is able to automatically capture over 30,000 infrared codes and thousands of electronic devices.

Out this August 5th for $99, are you willing to give the VooMote One a go?
