Steampunk USB Drive With Built-In microSD Card Reader

by Ally

If only I had an endless supply of cash for the latest best looking gadgets out there.  Truthfully I’d probably spend more money on interesting steampunk gadgets like this than things like the iPad.  I usually enjoy the eccentric gadgets over the streamlined ones.  This gadget although it’s the size of a USB drive, it actually has a built-in card reader.

That card reader will make it possible for you to store, read and access a microSD card of any capacity.  Plus on the other end is an 8GB USB drive that’ll allow for you to store a great deal of data.  This whole thing is made of brass, copper, glass and watch/clock parts.  You can purchase it for $195 through Etsy.  It’s definitely not a cheap little gadget, but it’d be worth it if you have money to spare.

One might notice that the reader is for a MICRO SD card, not a regular SD card.
Just thought I would point this out.

$195.00 U.S. for a combo Flash stick and card reader? Screw that noise!!
I wouldn’t dish out that kind of cash fort such an item even if it was made of pure gold!!
What a waste of money!!

I have some Flash sticks and card readers that cost me $10.00 that do what they’re expected, so I’d rather spend my money on better things! 🙂
