iMo Pivot Touch unveiled

imo-pivotMimomonitors have just expanded their range of devices with the introduction of its iMo Pivot Touch, where this is the first touchscreen monitor available to the masses that fall under the $200 price point, allowing one to enjoy the full touchscreen experience without breaking the proverbial bank, Featuring a fully pivoting ball-and-joint 7″ LCD screen, the iMo Pivot Touch can be detached fully from its stand and operate in stand-alone mode. You get 800 x 480 resolution with this alongside 350 cd/m2 brightness and 400:1 contrast. Apart from that, it is less messy to use since a solitary USB 2.0 connection brings both connectivity and power options.

  1. Just received the new imo touch monitor–drivers for mac weren’t working, touch functions did not function correctly and once I turned the monitor off (overnight), it never turned on again. Support was awful, had no idea how to set it up for Mac and referred me to guide for Windows install even though I told them I was using a mac (the manual is in poor English anyways). Long story short, I now have to pay money out of pocket to return the unit and I am out $30 in customs fees on top of that. Also, I never received the stylus they promised as part of the Black Friday promotion. Not impressed with this product or this company at all!
