The portable Handy Cooler cools far more than fans

by Ally

When cold weather hits, you get heated blankets, space heaters, hot packs you can slip in your gloves and heated USB gloves.  Yet when summer hits you get miniature fans and on occasion a light misting thrown in with the fan.  As far as gadgetry goes it seems that cooling down isn’t as much of a priority.  However, for those with hot flashes or just can’t stand the heat, fans just don’t cut it.  Thankfully there is this Handy Cooler that does more than just give you a room temperature breeze.

I am usually frozen extremely easily, but even I think it’s a little unfair that those that get hot easily don’t have as many items to cool off with.  After all, you can only take off so much clothing, especially in an office type setting.  This Personal Evaporative Cooling Fan is the first of its kind and is completely portable.  It will actually cool down the air by up to 30 degrees.  It also has a soothing humidifying effect.  Within the device is a sponge that you get wet and the fan uses that sponge to not only cool things off, but to humidify the air.  The Handy Cooler comes in three different colors, black, sky blue and soft pink.  You can purchase one for $39.95, you could also purchase the baby stroller upgrade kit for an extra $34.95.

Nice! There’s recently alot of buzz about this new product. It’ll be great if I can have one in my office. My boss never turns on the A/C so I’m stuck in my cubicle with a sweaty shirt! Also great it runs on batteries. I’ve always wished for someone to come up with a product like this.

I recently ordered one of these because I was in need of a fan. I saw multiple fans out there, but I wanted something new. It wasn’t pricey at all so i ordered via internet. WOW.. I actually feel so much cooler after using one of these. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

Great handy device! I bought one from their website recently and think it works great! Perfect for the hot summer days when you’re out and about. The price is reasonable and I’d definitely recommend this to my friends.

Interesting idea to use a swamp cooling method instead of the conventional misting fans. Definitely less likely to get wet and if it works like it says it would be a great product.

Perfect device! I bought one of these from their online site and it’s been working great. Temperature in Sydney is hot at about 35-40c and dry. Real lifesaver.

Oh and here’s a link that I found showing ‘how it works’ on youtube. Funny how they don’t really advertise this video… weird. click the link on my name (I THINK?!) to get on it.

Perffffect for the hot summer days. Small and portable so it is not a hassle to carry around. I got the power adaptor which makes it even stronger. They should make an adaptor so that I can plug it into the car though. I would recommend this air cooler for personal use!
