I don’t know about you, but I like sushi. I must have gobbled a ton of it at CES Unveiled, and would probably eat it more often if it wasn’t so expensive at restaurants. Unfortunately, I have the hardest time making it at home, which is why I am glad that someone invented the Sushi Maker Set.
This little plastic tube can make a perfect roll in a few easy steps. All you need to do is pack each half of the roll into the tube halves, and then snap them together. From there, you just push it out like a tube of Play-Doh onto the wrapping and chop it up for some yummy bites.
This is going to improve my normal method, which is to scoop some rice onto the seaweed wrap and attempt to stuff meat, seafood, and veggies into it somehow. Then I roll it up, cut it up, only to find the rice isn’t as sticky as I thought, and it oozes out the sides. Just try eating that with chopsticks.
Devices like the Sushi Maker Set are handy, but usually impossible to clean. This might be an exception to this rule as the company promises it is “easy to clean”, and it doesn’t take up too much room in the silverware drawer.
If you like sushi as much as I do, and would be interested in the Sushi Maker Set, head over to The Lighter Side Co. site and put down $24.98 for the purchase.
