FogScreen Walk-Through Projection Screen

fogscreen.jpgFogScreen is the creator of the first walk-through projection screen made out of “dry” fog in the world, and has partnered with American Exhibition Services to deliver it to the exhibition industry. The whole idea of this partnership is to enable FogScreen to reach a greater breadth of consumers while providing AES’s show managers a truly innovative way to “wow” their audiences. According to Bliss Beasley, Executive Vice President at AES, “This relationship with FogScreen, Inc. allows us to offer trade show organizers a very compelling product that can truly differentiate their shows, while ensuring their messages reach their targeted audiences. Together we can offer trade show organizers the ability to offer walk-through advertising and sponsor messages. The exhibition industry can also enrich exhibitors’ results by capturing attendees’ attention with vibrant colors, images and messages that literally float in the air.”

This sounds like a great way if you want to make an impact at trade shows, since it sure works in a much more effective manner than the standard projector or plasma/LCD displays. After all, Jorden Woods, President of U.S. Operations at FogScreen also mentioned, “To make an impact at trade shows with numerous companies vying for attendees’ attention, presentation is often the difference between success and failure. AES is a leader in creating effective marketing packages for the exhibition industry and our partnership is a natural combination of their great services and our radical new device that attains attention by using dry fog to create elegant visual effects.”

The FogScreen One and Inia projection screens (measuring one and two meters respectively) are now available to deliver knockout presentations by using patented technology to create a thin layer of fog that is dry to the touch and environmentally safe. Being able to walk through this display might be disconcerting for the viewers, and it sure as heck beats those snazzy LCD projectors.
