HP TouchSmart IQ770 PC

hp-iq770.jpgEvery family knows that the notice board is one place where the entire household leaves notes from one another, although more and more families are migrating to an electronic platform like online calendars and text messages. HP decided to do away with Post-It notes on the notice board or fridge by introducing the HP TouchSmart IQ770 computer than enables the entire family to manage their schedule via calendar events and a slew of voice, written, or typed messages. The fresh design ensures the IQ770 blends in perfectly with the rest of your home decor without looking out of place.

The IQ770 boasts a touch screen display that makes accessing the Internet as well as personal programs a cinch. There is even an integrated printer station with the appropriate ports that enable you to add a compatible HP Photosmart portable printer for on-the-spot printing. Of course, leaving notes for the rest of your family is not the only thing the IQ770 can do – it is capable of keeping your household entertained during a rainy summer afternoon. The IQ770 comes with a personal video recorder that not only enables you to watch TV, but record as well. A pair of high-performance speakers make listening to your favorite MP3 a pleasure always.

Best of all, you don’t even need to upgrade to Windows Vista as the IQ770 already ships with Microsoft’s latest commercial operating system. This means you get enhanced security, reliability, and search functions via the Windows Vista Home Premium edition. Just take note that Vista is not exactly tweaked for gaming yet, so hardcore gamers are better off sticking to their existing XP machines. There is no word on when the IQ770 will be released, but it should be soon.
