You know how it is during winter, the weather is extremely cold, and when you head out to a stadium or park and plant your bottom onto a bench, you just get that tingling sensation right down from your spine up to your head, and we’re not talking about being electrified by crossing eyes with the lady of your dreams. It is actually the sheer cold that makes you uncomfortable, and ironically you would have to use your body warmth to heat up that particular spot for some time before it actually becomes seatable, for the lack of a word. Since most public open air places do not come with a power outlet, there is no way you can plug in a USB-powered seat warmer, which is why there is a heated stadium seat that comes in the form of the Club Seat.

December 7th, 2006 by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets7.1 Channel Sound Adapter in USB format
December 7th, 2006 by Edwin in Audio/Video Gadgets, PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets
Remember the good old days when a sound card was considered to be a luxury purchase? While your friends with Sound Blasters or Sound Blaster Pros managed to eke out just about double the fun piloting an X-Wing with all the explosions and screams of TIE fighters ringing around in a dogfight, you had to endure the cold, stony silence of keyboard taps and joystick button clicks. Come to think of it, that’s how it was supposed to be anyway. Space is a vacuum, and we all know that sound doesn’t travel through vacuum. I digress - sound cards have since come a long way and today, most motherboards come with integrated sound cards, but if you want to go one up on the generic integrated soundchip, why not plug in this USB-powered Virtual 7.1 Channel Sound Adapter?
Wireless Backup Camera
December 7th, 2006 by Mike in Audio/Video Gadgets, Vehicle Gadgets
More and more these days, high end luxury cars are coming with backup cameras, allowing the parking impaired to save themselves some cash when they hit the two cars in their way when parallel parking. If you don’t have the cash for one of those cars, but still suck at parking, VR3’s RoadMaster Wireless Backup Camera will let you add one to any type of car you want.

Gift Ideas for the Spy in your Life
December 7th, 2006 by Al in Gadget Gift Ideas, Spy StuffIt may not be the wisest of moves buying other people spy equipment but hey if you’re married to 007 and are stuck for a gift then check these out:
GPS Tracker
We wrote about this exceptionally cool GPS tracker earlier in the year and it became our first ever Digg front page (which meant lots of traffic and new readers (thank you digg)).
Once the tracker has done it’s travels and it’s back in your possession you simply connect it to you PC and download the data. This data can then be plotted on Google Earth, Mapquest, maps.google.com and Virtual Earth to show exactly where it’s been, how long it took and how it got there.
I just think this is so cool (may of said cool a record number of times in this post) it obviously has the spy functionality of tracking somebody else but to me it is even more useful for tracking your own holidays and backpacking adventures. So not only can you bore visitors with your holiday snaps you can also show them exactly where you went.
Available from from TG for $249.99.

Nintendo Wii Nunchuck Controller
December 7th, 2006 by methodshop in Gaming Gadgets, Miscellaneous Gadgets
Is a weak arm or physical stamina keeping you from taking your Nintendo Wii gaming experience to the next level? Perhaps you should look into getting the Nintendo Wii Nunchuk Controller. This accessory adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming and does it all with less physical movement.
Contoured to perfectly fit a players hand, the Nunchuck controller builds on the simplicity of the Nintendo Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuck contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote but also includes an analog stick to help assist in character movement. This analog stick can be a godsend if you feel like physical motion is keeping you from your optimum gaming performance (see video called Crazy Girl on Wii).
Many games will allow you to control your character’s movement with the Nunchuck in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuck comes in extremely handy for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuck to hit with your off or weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your primary hand. Hardcore gamers may even want to use two Nunchuck controllers to gain a competitive edge.
Rather use the Nunchuck in your right hand? No problem. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in previous game controllers.
Also, the Nunchuck controller doesn’t need its own power - it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it’s in use. So there’s no worry about charging up or expensive batteries.
Adding a Nunchuck to your Nintendo Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming. Just be careful you don’t accidentally smack your wife or punch your dog while using your Wii controllers like these guys.

December 7th, 2006 by Dan in Vehicle Gadgets
The Bologna Motor Show, one of the most important car expos in Europe, is about to kick-off this Thursday, and it will run through December 17th with more than 100 novelties to be displayed by almost 400 companies. This year, in fact, the expo for the first time is included in the OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles) calendar.
Now, for those of you wondering the size of the event, it has an in-door area of 140 thousand square meters and another 90 thousand square meters for test drives (50,000 estimated) and racing competitions. Read the rest of this entry »
MediaREADY MC Digital Home Entertainment Center
December 6th, 2006 by Edwin in Audio/Video Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets
Those who have been to their friends’ pads and discovered the joys of a Media Center PC will definitely go home and break open the piggy bank to see how much money is required in order to purchase a unit for yourself. The majority of Media Center PCs currently run on Microsoft’s Windows XP Media Center Edition, but the MediaREADY MC Digital Home Entertainment Center offers something very different. It uses its very own feature-rich software suite that was designed specifically for use on a television set, throwing some conventional computer interfaces out of the window (pardon the pun).
