8GB USB Microdrive

August 5th, 2006 by Mike in PC Gadgets, USB Gadgets

tone8.jpgThumb drives can store up to a couple gigabytes of data in a device the size of, well, your thumb. The only downside is that as you get past the gigabyte mark, thumb drives become very expensive.

Carrying around a hard drive doesn’t sound that great, but the T.One isn’t your regular hard drive, it fits in your pocket.

The T.One is a portable hard drive with 8 gigabytes of storage, and connects to your computer via USB 2.0, but is also compatabile with USB 1.1 (for the poor people who still have that). It’s compatabile with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

August 4th, 2006 by Liam in Miscellaneous Gadgets

Swiss Military Pen
From the country that brought you such classics as the Swiss Army Knife, comes a new and even more amazing gadget. The Swiss Military Pen is a neat little pen which packs in just about as much as you could fit into…a pen?

The pen is composed of three basic cylinders which can be unscrewed. Inside of each cylinder are small storage areas where each of the tools can fold out of so it is very compact.

August 4th, 2006 by Liam in Miscellaneous Gadgets

Robotic Laser Ball
If you want a fun and interesting way to lighten up a party, this Robotic Laser Ball could be perfect for you! This small little ball features a mini robot inside which flashes lasers and rolls around all over the place. The robot has several LED lights on its arms which make for a great light show.

The ball is activated either by touch or by sound so it would be a perfect gadget to have around music. It can assume the beat of music and adjust its rolling and flashing patterns accordingly.

Can Crusher

August 3rd, 2006 by Liam in Drinking Gadgets

Can Crusher
If you like to keep your cans for recycling but find it very space-consuming to store large cans that just have air in them, you may want to consider crushing your cans. I often do this just for fun by stepping on them, but you often hit them slightly on the side which causes them to not be crushed flat.
