As eco friendly modes of transport go, electric cars are right up there. Generally with electric vehicles performance has suffered, however this little car is capable of 0-60mph in 4 seconds flat and boosts a top speed of 120 mph.
You can but it online and get full details over at Hammacher but be warned it will set you back a whopping $108,000.00 (though I guess with saved fuel costs it would pay for its self in a couple of centuries).
Are you one of the digital music trailblazers who owns a 1G iPod? It’s hard to believe, but Apple first unveiled the iPod back in October 2001. Today, the iPod amounts to almost 50% of Apple’s quarterly income - but back then few could have predicted that the iPod would become such a major game changer for Apple.
Here’s a clip from TechTV with their first impressions on the 1G iPod. It’s interesting to see what people thought of the iPod before it became such a huge success.

Personally, I hate golf. It’s slow, and takes forever. But this gadget actually makes me want to play a bit, or at least play with a golf ball. I can leave out the clubs and score keeping part.
It’s called RadarGolf. It solves a common problem, people lose their ball and have absolutely no idea where it is. Rather than just getting a new ball and forgetting about the old one, something I’d do, you could use your RadarGolf to find that lost ball.

I think this would be cool even if I wasn’t a Star Wars fan.
This game plugs into a television and translates actual movement into on-screen interactive lightsaber dueling from the iconic Star Wars movies. A spheroidal training droid plugs into your TV (not included) via an included RCA cable and wirelessly detects every movement of the lightsaber as you collaborate with on-screen representations of famous Jedi Knights such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Yoda to battle a host of adversaries including Jango Fett, Emperor Palpatine, and Darth Vader. At 15″ long, the lightsabers hilt is wide enough for two hands, but short enough for exuberant indoor play.
Was the spheroidal training droid only in the original, or was it also in the latest films. Anyway it would be a cool addition to any living room. If you fancy starting your Jedi training it’s available from Hammacher for $59.95. Thanks to clvezlysfor the nod.
Welcome to the new extreme sport for golfers, potty putter. Now instead of using up precious green time when vacating the premises you can get in a bit of putting practice.
If you have a row of cubicles in your office toilets you could even play with your friends, which is probably safer than toilet volleyball :).
You can get potty putter from Boys Stuff (yes this is actually a product that you can buy).
We had a fair few entries to our gadget suggestion competition, many were gadgets that you could buy whilst others were concepts that we’d like to get our mitts on. Thanks for every body who took part and I’ll now write about the ones that really stood out before announcing the winner.
